Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Scientific Conference INPROFORUM is the traditional event at the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic, focused on the research achievements in the field of Innovations, Enterprises, Regions and Organizations (InPRofORum). The conference offers the opportunity to discuss relevant topics among academic and practicing economists. The Conference was established at Faculty of Economics (University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice) in 2007. It follows the tradition of conferences organized by the Agricultural Faculty.

The Conference Committee invites original contributions on all aspects of economics and management, finance and accounting, regional development, international trade, tourism, marketing, quantitative methods in economics, and private and business law related to economic growth. However, papers not explicitly addressing the conference themes will also be considered. Publishing of conference papers is conditioned by a successful  blind peer-review process.

The ethics statements for Conference papers are based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct guidelines. Conformance to standards of ethical behavior is expected of all parties involved: Authors, Editors, Reviewers, and the Publisher. In particular,

Editors must ensure a fair blind peer-review of the submitted conference papers for publication. They will strive to prevent any potential conflict of interests between the author and editorial and review personnel. Editors will also ensure that all the information related to submitted papers is kept as confidential before publishing. Editors should take reasonable responsive measures when ethical complaints have been presented concerning a submitted manuscript or published conference paper.

Reviewers: Any papers received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on content without regard to ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship, religious belief or political philosophy of the authors. Reviews should be conducted in blind peer-review process objectively, and observations should be formulated clearly with supporting arguments, so that authors can use them for improving the paper. Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a paper should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process. Reviewers should not consider paper in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

Authors: The conference is open to all authors who fulfil the stated criteria. By sending a conference paper authors agree with Conference publication politics.
