INPROFORUM 2013: „The sources, limits and preconditions of the growth and development of the Czech Economy“

The international scientific conference, INPROFORUM 2013, is organized by the Faculty of Economics under the auspices of doc. Ing. Ladislav Rolínek, Ph.D., dean of the Faculty of Economics, at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. The conference languages are Czech, English and Slovak.

For a number of years, one of the most important and frequently discussed topics among academic and practicing economists is the revival of economic growth. Acceleration of economic growth is, after several years of economic recession or weak growth, crucial for increasing the living standards, lowering the unemployment, accelerating investments and the growth of potential product, and also for the consolidation of public finances.

From this point of view, a number of questions can be raised about what are the optimal government economic policies and about the management and financing of enterprises on the micro level. At the same time, one has to keep in mind that the restored economic growth should not bring further widening of income and wealth inequalities in society and negative environmental consequences. The INPROFORUM 2013 conference offers the opportunity to discuss sources and limits of economic growth using various approaches.
