Abstract
Current global environment requires, that enterprises should have clearly determined vision and direction, which they want to head for. The paper deals with process management of small and medium sized enterprises according to the categories of employee quantity and business activities. The aim is to analytically describe business strategies of surveyed small and medium sized enterprises and their differences based on company size and business activities. Furthermore, to statistically analyze causal effect of choice of strategy between chosen categories of small and medium sized enterprises. Required data were obtained through project GAJU 068/2010/S. Statistical analysis were focused on relative frequencies, graphical analysis and Kruskal-Wallis test completed with correlative coefficient. The results shows, except analytical describe of surveyed small and medium sized enterprises strategies, also findings dealing with causal effect of choice of strategy between surveyed enterprises according to their business activities.
