Abstract
The work deals with the efficient provision of public services. The report aims to: a) analyze and compare the forms of provision public service, b) analyze the provision public service of public enterprise. The main task of the municipalities is the provision of public services to its Citizen. Community should ensure that public services are provided at the highest quality at the lowest cost. The paper analyzed the public enterprises of municipalities with extended powers in the South Bohemian and West Bohemian Region, This paper deals with the close community property shares in companies, analysis of business and municipal companies closer analysis of companies engaged in providing services and companies that manage forests. A positive aspect of these companies is greater flexibility in accounting, taxation and property management. Downside is that these companies are regulated by the Commercial Code, which may endanger the transparency and efficiency.
