The paper deals with corporate social responsibility in the small and medium sized enterprises influenced by economic crisis. One of the main causes of this crisis was lack of responsibility. Corporate social responsibility represents suitable way out of this crisis. The aim of this paper is to analytically describe the main motivate factors of surveyed enterprises for engaging in social responsible activities. Further, the aim of this paper is to analyse the influence of economic crisis on surveyed enterprises engaged in corporate social responsibility. There were used quantitative analysis of questionnaire research and qualitative comparative analysis of longitudinal comparison of two enterprises by using selected financial indicators and bankruptcy indexes. The results show that economic crisis did not mean such risk for examined small and medium sized enterprises engaged in corporate social responsibility.
