Abstract


This paper is focused on new trends in gastronomy and provision of catering services in connection with an evaluation of human resources importance in the surveyed branch. This work is further outlined in the context of tourism development in a destination. New social and entertainment trends in connection with a particular experience and typical regional product represent in gastronomy and catering services a significant potential for the development of the secondary offerings of the tourist destination. The crucial factor of realization is increasing the quality level of the services in a destination through education, training and further development of the human resources in gastronomy.
