Abstract
The article praises the importance of the human capital for competitiveness and prosperity of a company. It seems that for the future the key factor will be to recruit and retain young talents and future leaders. The chosen study documents that the young generation has different expectations and needs in the world of work compared with previous generations. The above mentioned facts should be considered in the human resources management to effectively influence their behaviour. The companies which invest in learning and nurturing young talents will be in the best position to attract and capture the best employees and that way to ensure the prosperous future.
