SCOR Model and classification of processes

Abstract
SCOR model is a relatively new method used in great companies to improve their activities using benchmarking. It allows to compare different business indicators with similar used in other firms and so propose better proceedings and performances in different operations. In this article is mentioned still another contribution of the SCOR model. It concerns the way of processes classification in manufacturing and services. This has a great practical, but also theoretical importance, because such complete classification method did not exist to this time.
