Extraordinary events happened in the Czech Republic in the past decade and they affected lives of our inhabitants. Water as a natural resource in its excessive amount endangered possessions of inhabitants and in spite of that it also had a negative influence on the visit of cultural sights and on the profit coming from tourism. Floods caused that lower income than supposed had appeared in the cash registers of cultural objects. The income also lowered of those companies, whose activity is directly or indirectly connected to cultural sights that are situated in their surroundings.
