Application of logistics in hospitals

Abstract
During some last decades logistics was successfully applied in different branches of industry, but relatively only few information were published about logistics in services, especially in hospitals. Analysis in the district hospital in Pisek shows that there are possibilities for improving operations in the way of ordering medicals and introducing outsourcing in the area of providing boarding and washing the linen.
