Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of the demographic development and structure of the world population in developed countries, developing countries and the least developed countries. The analysis is focused in changes in the development and structure of world population which happened during the last 300 years. The main task of the research is to find out key trends and their mutual differences in the area of population development.
